My Jeep is in excellent condition with only 25,000 miles on it, manual A/C, but lately the A/C blower source has a mind of its own. Sometimes it will work find, then only A/C will come out of the defrost vent and foot vent. Yesterday it came out all vents, but less out of the front vent. I don't touch the selector knob, it does this all on its own. I think whatever valve controls the opening and closing of the vents is the problem and not the actuator motors. I've heard too many horror stories about dealers not knowing either and charging you over a thousand dollars to take your apart the dash. Does anyone have any logical solutions?
