Tax Rebate Checks Question? Married Filing Jointly?

IF the deal goes completely through, you will get $1200 for being a married couple and $300 for the child. You will not get this right away with your refund. It will take a few months for the government to finalize everything and to send checks out. I read somewhere that checks wouldn't be issued until July. Since this deal is not 100% completely finalized, do not count on this money. Anything could happen to prevent us from actually getting it.
